About Me

About Me

As a Teaching Artist I travel all around NYC! I teach in public and private schools,  for preschool and elementary students.

I’ve also taught Theatre and Literature for a year and a half as part of the After-School Reading Club for students staying in NYC Temporary Housing Residencies. You can read my recent blog post for New York City Children’s Theater, about my experience with this wonderful program.

For the last six years I’ve been a Children’s Entertainer, visiting parties and events to interact with kids as a princess, pirate, train engineer, or just about any character you can imagine! Visit Fire Pixie NY to learn more!

I lead a weekly Storytime and Singalong for Kids at the Housing Works Bookstore and Cafe in SOHO, for children 3 years & under and their caretakers.

When I Babysit, I’m always up for playing games, dancing around, and reading out loud. Most of my babysitting experience is with children 2-11 years old.

I also have experience teaching and volunteering with Neurodiverse children and children with other special needs. My wonderful younger brother was diagnosed with Autism (High-functioning) when he was 3 and I was 12.

I’m cleared through the DOE to work in NYC Public Schools, and certified for Pediatric CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
